Wednesday, May 27 - Kentucky’s The Last Frontier, headed by J. P. Mathes of Hazard Community College will bring Tokyo Japan’s well known performer,Takeharu Kunimoto, to the Redlight Café for a very special and entertaining bluegrass music performance. June 6, 2009 – Everetts Music Barn Benefit – The annual “Singing All Day and Dinner on the Ground” fund-raiser for the Everetts Music Barn. Performances will include many local bands and musicians plus some special onstage reunions. Stage show starts at 1:00 and continues until all bands have performed. Bring your favorite food or dessert for the covered dish dinner which starts at 5:00. All donations will benefit the Everetts Music Barn to help defray some of the annual operating expenses of the barn (taxes, insurance, etc.) The Everetts Music Barn (courtesy of the Everett Family) has been offering bluegrass shows every Saturday night for approximately 45 years.
